194 Driving Licenses Revoked in Pimpri-Chinchwad for Repeated Traffic Violations

In a resolute effort to enhance road safety and enforce accountability among drivers, the Pimpri Chinchwad police have taken a significant step by canceling 194 driving licenses of individuals who have repeatedly violated traffic regulations.

Vitthal Kubade, the police inspector, stated that this year, up until August 18, they submitted a proposal to the Regional Transport Office (RTO) to revoke licenses of 596 individuals with traffic violations. Out of these, 194 licenses have been cancelled, with the process for the remaining cases still ongoing.

These 194 revoked licenses belonged to individuals who had accumulated a considerable number of traffic violation points. These points were assigned based on the seriousness and nature of their infractions. These individuals consistently disregarded traffic rules, leading the police to take such significant action to ensure adherence to regulations and enhance road safety.
